Thunderbird Airways is a Houston-based charter airline company in business for many years. Their customer base draws from corporate executives traveling both for business and pleasure. In the past, the company has had very little concerted marketing and business development efforts, with their reputation spreading almost exclusively through word-of-mouth and referrals. To increase their customer base, Zapfire was asked to develop a self-sustaining marketing Web site that would inform customers about Thunderbird's services and draw in new customers searching for chartered airline services in the Houston area.

Zapfire's branding staff has worked with numerous companies over the years, including American Airlines. Our staff presented multiple design concepts that would appeal directly to Thunderbird's customer base and encourage them to contact the company for more information. This design process is critically important, as it is "a window" on Thunderbird's operation for customers coming in through the Internet. The site was also designed using Flash animation technology to convey a feeling of motion and energy. The company now has a 24/7 portal that can serve as a virtual sales office for both pleasure travelers and the business travel marketing segments.
