This Houston-based small business is an artisan studio that has repaired and restored fine wooden home furnishings and pianos for over 40 years. The company was late in adding a Web presence to its marketing strategy, and when Zapfire undertook the project, we assisted them with architecture, content development and design.

It was important for their web site to showcase a wide variety of services, show the types of furnishings the shop worked on, highlight the woods they specialize in, and do so in a clean, uncluttered way. Zapfire took a minimalist approach to the design of the site, with curves and scrollwork that recall vintage furniture design itself, and employed large dynamic photographs on each page enabling the user to see exactly the kinds of work Rodriguez specialized in. A special section was mapped out to show off the various woods the company had experience treating, and a corporate history and contact page to credibility and establish the company as trustworthy and reliable.
