Staff: working together for you
Zapfire's staff is composed of seasoned professionals in marketing, design, programming, advertising and public relations. Together, we bring a vast array of experience to meet the challenges of communicating your business message to as wide an audience as possible. Our employees have held high-profile positions in large corporations, government and non-profits, but have also worked in small businesses and been entrepreneurs on their own so they know the business world from a wide perspective and can match their personal expertise to the needs of any enterprise. Each is talented individually, and combined, their experience and skills are a formidable force that stands ready to help your organization succeed.
Ron Beagle is the principal of Zapfire, and his area of expertise is marketing and business development. A native of Houston, Ron has a history of working with large companies like Compaq Computers, and as small organizations like the Neartown Little League. No matter the size or scope of a business, Ron's ability to see client needs, think creatively and create opportunities for maximizing the market outreach of the Web make him an asset to any business. Ron lives in East Nashville with his best friend, a fox terrier named Cordie. Make no mistake Ron runs Zapfire, but Cordie runs Ron.
Tom Horton, Zapfire's creative director, is a rarity in many ways besides just being a Nashville native. A "smart cookie" with degrees from Rhodes and the University of Virginia, he is our branding, advertising and strategic planning expert. His background includes success in publications, politics and ad agencies, having worked with diverse clients as Nortel, Sodexho/Marriott, Apple Computer, Vanderbilt University, and Tennessee State Government. When not chained to his desk working, Tom enjoys karaoke. Don't ask him to sing unless you're actually ready to listen. We warned you.
Kathy Evans is Zapfire's interactive designer, and has a background in building user experiences that are functionally innovative, well organized and aesthetically pleasing. Kathy is also up-to-date on the latest in search engine optimization (SEO). She has used her skills to build the Web presence of the Nashville Adult Literacy Council, Jaymar Family Entertainment Centers, The Methodist GCAF, Maintenext and dozens of other sites. Between her work, husband, children, church and dogs, she has about ten minutes free each day that she's looking to fill, if you can catch her.
